Carbofill® is a two component phenolic foam resin used for filling cavities. Component A is an aqueous phenolic resins containing a suspension of solid carbonates as a blowing agent and Component B is a blend of various acids which affect the foaming process and the curing reaction.
The final product is a lightweight material with a yellow to pink colour. Ideal for filling of cavities in underground roadways and longwalls and the stabilisation and prevention of gas accumulation, stabilisation of debris and forming temporary plug seals.

All our strata injection and cavity filling chemicals used in coal mines hold the German Authority permit (LOBA compliant), an internationally accepted standard for the safe and correct manufacture and application of these systems.
